Our People
The history of MII Limited spans almost two decades.
Two directors, one secretary and a handful of engineers formed the company in 1984. From these humble origins,
MII Limited has grown into one of the leading mechanical erection and installation contractors
in the UK.

Over this period, we have developed six specialist divisions, each with its own
management structure. We have a register of over 700 skilled tradesmen whom we use on a regular
basis. In 2003 MII Ltd. is pleased to report that we extended our number of long term contracts
with key clients and have a permanent core workforce of over 110 people.

Ray Barton established MII Ltd, in April
1984. Using his considerable dynamism, Ray set about generating
business in the heavy engineering sector he knew so well.
As the business environment has changed markedly over
the last 18 years, so MII Ltd have moulded their business,
always ready to look at and take on new challenges. There
is no doubt that Ray's entrepreneurial skills and drive
have resulted in the company's success and technical expertise.

Our Operations Director, Reg Bazzard joined
MII Limited 16 years ago as a Foreman. His "apprenticeship"
with the company has been served in a number of key operational
and general management roles. Indeed, Reg has driven the
company through a structured period of change including
the introduction of the Maintenance Division, newer divisions
such as Pipework, Facilities and CDM. He has also championed
the Health & Safety/Quality standards that have been set
within MII.

A loyal and indispensable member of the
senior management team is Julie Brand, Company Secretary
to MII Ltd. Having joined the fledgling company back in
1985 as the Office Administrator, Julie has seen many
changes and structural developments over the years. She
is responsible for all financial management, planning
as well as supervising the office and support teams and
lots more besides!

Heading the Facilities Division is Brian
Arnesen, a Chartered Engineer with an Honours degree in
Mechanical Engineering. He is an active member of the
Institute of Mechanical Engineers. Brian was sponsored
by British Steel through his degree before working at
both the Llanwern and Port Talbot sites. He also spent
some time as a Port Engineer with Associated British Ports
in Newport. He has used his experience in maintenance,
installations and capital projects and has contributed
to the comprehensive range of facility packages on offer
today by MII Limited.
